Waterloo Regional Police Charge Driver Following Commercial Vehicle Collision in North Dumfries Township
Waterloo Regional Police have laid charges after a commercial motor vehicle collision in North Dumfries Township.
On November 24, 2025, at approximately 10 a.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision involving a transport truck on Dickie Settlement Road near Whistle Bare Road.
The investigation determined that the truck driver lost control, left the roadway, and the vehicle overturned into a ditch, blocking both lanes of traffic.
No physical injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were involved.
As a result of the investigation, a 64-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged with:
- Operation While Impaired
- Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration
- Dangerous Operation
