Waterloo Regional Police Charge a Dundas Driver After a Woolwich Collision
On March 4, 2025, at approximately 6 a.m., members of Waterloo Regional Police’s Police Liaison Team (PLT) were in attendance at a labour dispute in the area of Fountain Street North and Airport Road.
While the PLT was present, a driver and picketers engaged in a brief interaction in which one of the picketers was struck by a vehicle. The involved vehicle then proceeded past picketers at a high rate of speed.
The driver, a 28-year-old male from Dundas, was arrested and charged with stunt driving.
No physical injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
The investigation remains ongoing.
