Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate an arson that occurred in Kitchener.

During the overnight hours of May 30, 2026, at approximately 5 a.m., two unidentified individuals gained access to a business in the area of Lancaster Street East and Elizabeth Street.

Investigators believe the suspects used a liquid accelerant, resulting in significant damage to the business.

The investigation is ongoing.
