Waterloo Regional Police Continue to Investigate a Kitchener Residential Break and Enter
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a residential break-and-enter in Kitchener.
On September 10, 2025, police received a report of break-in at a residence on Brembel Street.
Through investigation it was determined that unknown suspect(s) damaged a rear door to the residence, gained entry and stole property.
Investigators are asking the residents in the area of Brembel Street to review their home security cameras on September 10, 2025, between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., for any suspicious activity or vehicles.
As part of ongoing crime prevention efforts, WRPS’ Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team encourages residents to:
Keep doors and windows locked, including vehicles, even when at home.
Store valuables out of plain sight.
Install audible alarm systems.
Use home video surveillance cameras for both the front and rear of residences.
Notify trusted neighbours when away and arrange for someone to check on your property.
Report any suspicious persons or vehicles to police.
