Waterloo Regional Police Continue to Investigate a Kitchener Stabbing
UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:
Waterloo Regional Police have laid charges in connection to a stabbing in Kitchener.
On October 6, 2024, at approximately 5:30 a.m., police responded to reports of a stabbing in the area of Victoria Street North and St. Leger Street.
One male was located with injuries and was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
On December 3, 2024, investigators completed a search warrant a residence in Cambridge.
As a result of the investigation, a 27-year-old Cambridge male has been charged with aggravated assault, assault with weapon (two counts), and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
A 27-year-old Cambridge female was also charged with accessory after the fact of aggravated assault. She is scheduled to appear in court on January 9, 2025.
