Waterloo Regional Police Continue to Investigate Stabbing Incident in Cambridge
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after a stabbing occurred during a physical altercation in Cambridge.
On August 23, 2025, at approximately 9:30 p.m., police responded to reports of a physical altercation between two groups of young people in the area of Elgin Street North and Bushnell Drive.
As a result of the altercation, one male sustained a stab wound, and another male suffered minor injuries but declined medical treatment.
The whereabouts of the male victim with the stab wound remain unknown at this time.
Investigators believe this was a targeted incident.
The investigation is ongoing by members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s General Investigations Unit.
