Waterloo Regional Police Continue to Investigate Stabbing Incident in Cambridge

Waterloo Regional Police have laid charges in connection to a stabbing in Cambridge.
On March 18, 2026, at approximately 9:45 p.m., police responded to reports of a stabbing at a residence on Concession Street near Christopher Street.
The victim, a 25-year-old male, was transported to an out-of-region hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
On March 20, 2026, a 36-year-old male was arrested and charged in relation to this incident.
Charges include:
- Assault with a weapon
- Carry Concealed Weapon
- Assault Cause Bodily Harm
- Robbery
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Breach Probation
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
