Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after a stabbing occurred in Kitchener.

On November 12, 2025, at approximately 1:40 a.m., police responded to reports of a stabbing in the area of Joseph Street and Ontario Street South. 

The victim, a 31-year-old male was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe this was a targeted incident.

The investigation is ongoing by members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s General Investigations Unit.
