Waterloo Regional Police Continue to Investigate a Waterloo Residential Break and Enter
Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a residential break-and-enter in the city of Waterloo.
On July 16, 2025 at approximately 12:30 p.m., unknown suspects broke into a residence in the River Oak Place area of Waterloo and stole property.
Area residents are asked to check security cameras for unusual activity in the area.
The investigation is still on going.
WRPS’ Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team is asking residents to consider the following tips to help prevent break-ins:
- Keep doors and windows locked, even when home
- Keep valuables out of common areas and out of plain sight
- Install audible noise alarm systems
- Secure residences with home video surveillance cameras in the front and back of the residence
- Notify neighbours when away for an extended period and arrange to have someone check on your residence
- Report any suspicious persons or vehicles to police
