Waterloo Regional Police Investigate Robbery at Kitchener Business
UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male in connection to a Kitchener robbery.
On July 20, 2025, at approximately 1:10 a.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at a gas station on Highland Road West near Fischer-Hallman Road.
An unknown male suspect attended the business, brandished a firearm and knife, and demanded cash from an employee before fleeing the area.
On July 21, 2025, police arrested a male in connection to this incident. A 24-year-old Kitchener male is facing charges of Robbery with a Firearm, Disguise with Intent, and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.
The accused is being held in police custody for a bail hearing.
