Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a shooting incident after a male arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound.

On July 23, 2025, police were contacted by hospital staff after the victim attended the emergency department with a non-life-threatening injury consistent with a gunshot wound.

Through initial investigation, police believe this was a targeted incident.

The investigation is ongoing by members of WRPS’ General Investigations Unit.
