Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Armed Car Robbery in Cambridge
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a robbery that occurred during the early morning hours of August 10, 2025, in Cambridge.
At approximately 2:40 a.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery in a parking lot in the area of Hespeler Road and Bishop Street North.
The victim was walking to his vehicle when he was approached by two unknown male suspects. One of the suspects brandished a firearm and demanded the victim’s car keys.
A physical altercation took place before the suspects were able to obtain the keys and flee the scene in the victim’s vehicle, a grey 2023 Honda Civic. The suspects were last seen heading westbound on Bishop Street.
Suspect descriptions are as follows:
- Suspect 1: White male, in his 20s, average build, wearing all dark clothing and a black face mask.
- Suspect 2: South Asian male, in his 20s, average build, wearing grey clothing and a black face mask.
There were no physical injuries reported.
The investigation remains ongoing by WRPS’ Robbery Team.
