Waterloo Regional Police are investigating an assault that occurred near the intersection of Highland Road West and Belmont Avenue West in Kitchener.

On September 27, 2025, at approximately 3:25 p.m., a female victim was driving through a plaza parking lot when she was confronted by a group of four males near a crosswalk. One male subject became aggressive, damaging the victim’s vehicle and physically assaulting her and a passenger.

An unknown passerby who attempted to intervene was also assaulted.

The investigation remains ongoing.
