The Waterloo Regional Police Service is investigating a break and enter that occurred at a property in Cambridge.

On September 8, 2025, at approximately 1:55 a.m., police responded to a report of two unknown individuals breaking into a fenced are of a Cambridge Utilities property on McGovern Drive.

Through investigation, it was determined that at approximately 1:45 a.m., the suspects cut a hole in a section of the perimeter fence and entered the property. The suspects stole multiple bundles of copper wire before fleeing the area on foot, heading southbound.
