Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Collision in Cambridge
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a motor vehicle collision in Cambridge that resulted in one person being transported to hospital.
On May 27, 2026, at approximately 2:50 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Maple Grove Road and Speedsville Road.
Investigators determined that a Toyota and a Lexus were involved in the collision. The driver of the Toyota, a 43-year-old Cambridge female, was transported to a local hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services with non-life-threatening injuries.
Speedsville Road was closed for several hours while police investigated but has since reopened.
The investigation remains ongoing by the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Traffic Services Unit, and charges are anticipated.
