Waterloo Regional Police Investigating a Collision Following R.I.D.E. Program in Cambridge
The Waterloo Regional Police Service is investigating a collision that occurred following a Mobile R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) Program in Cambridge.
On December 19, 2025, police were conducting a Mobile R.I.D.E. Program in the area of King Street and Fountain Street when a 23-year-old male from Kitchener failed to stop his motor vehicle and fled the area.
Shortly after fleeing, the vehicle collided with a local residence, causing significant damage. No physical injuries were reported.
The 23-year-old male was arrested at the scene and is facing criminal charges as well as Highway Traffic Act-related offences.
