Waterloo Regional Police Investigating a Collision Involving Stolen Vehicle in Kitchener
UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested two individuals in connection to a collision investigation involving a stolen vehicle in Kitchener.
On September 17, 2025, a 16-year-old male from Kitchener and a 26-year-old male from Kitchener were arrested for their roles in the incident.
The 16-year-old was identified as the driver involved in the collision. The 26-year-old male was identified as assisting the driver in fleeing the scene.
Both individuals were held for a bail hearing and have been charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Fail to Remain at the Scene of an Accident.
During the arrest, the 26-year-old male was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and other items consistent with drug trafficking. He was additionally charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
The investigation remains ongoing.

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a collision involving a stolen vehicle in Kitchener.
On September 14, 2025, at approximately 10:40 a.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision in the area of Victoria Street South and Brybeck Crescent.
The incident involved a stolen white Ford Fusion that collided with a parked vehicle. The driver and passenger of the Ford Fusion fled the area prior to police arrival.
There were no reported physical injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing.
