Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Collision in Kitchener After Cyclist Injured

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a collision in Kitchener after a cyclist was struck by a vehicle.

On June 7, 2026, at approximately 7:50 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision at the intersection of Victoria Street North and Bruce Street involving a Honda motor vehicle and a bicycle.

The cyclist, a 56-year-old female from Kitchener, was transported to a local hospital with injuries. The driver of the Honda, a 66-year-old female from Wellington County, was not physically injured.

The intersection was partially closed for several hours while officers conducted the investigation.

The investigation remains ongoing by WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit, and charges are anticipated.
