Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Fire in Cambridge Park
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a fire that occurred at a public park in Cambridge.
On August 8, 2025, at approximately 8:45 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a portable washroom on fire in the area of Cowan Boulevard, near the Fiddlesticks Community Centre.
The Cambridge Fire Department attended and extinguished the fire. The cause of the fire was determined to be toilet paper that had been lit on fire from the dispenser.
The investigation is ongoing.
