Waterloo Regional Police Investigating a Hit and Run Collision in Kitchener
Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service Traffic Services Unit responded to a hit and run collision in Kitchener.
On April 27, 2024, at approximately 8:55 a.m., emergency services responded to the area of Stirling Avenue South and Lorne Crescent following a collision involving a vehicle and a hydro pole.
The driver of the vehicle left the scene but was located nearby by police. The driver, a 40-year-old Kitchener male, was charged with Failing to Remain and Careless Driving.
The area of Stirling Avenue South and Lorne Crescent was closed for hydro repairs.
