Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Jewellery Theft in Waterloo
Waterloo Regional Police's North Division Direct Action Response Team (DART) is investigating a theft from jewellery store in Waterloo.
On June 2, 2026, at approximately 2:50 p.m., an unknown suspect entered a jewellery store inside Conestoga Mall and asked to view a piece of jewellery. The suspect then grabbed the jewellery and fled the store.
The suspect met with a waiting vehicle outside the mall and fled southbound on Davenport Road.
The suspect is described as a White male, approximately 5’7” to 5’9” tall, with a heavy build, and wearing a light grey sweater over a white T-shirt, light grey sweatpants, a black baseball cap, and black shoes.

The suspect vehicle is described as a black Volkswagen Jetta.
