Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Motor Vehicle Theft and Related Incidents in Waterloo

The Waterloo Regional Police Service is investigating after a stolen Jeep was located in the area of Pinery Trail and Springwater Drive in Waterloo.

On September 19, 2025, at approximately 6:40 p.m., police located a stolen vehicle occupied by two individuals. As officers attempted to contain the black SUV, the driver struck a police cruiser and fled the area. 

The vehicle was found abandoned a short time later, and the suspects fled on foot.

The two individuals are also believed to be connected to additional offences in the neighbourhood, including theft and attempted entry to homes.

No physical injuries were reported. 

The investigation is ongoing, and police continue to seek the public’s assistance.
