Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Break, Enter, Auto Theft and Robbery (BEAR) Unit are investigating a residential break and enter in Kitchener.

On July 4, 2026, between approximately 9:50 p.m. and 10 p.m., unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the area of Westgate Walk and Aberdeen Road.

Investigators believe the suspect(s) gained entry by damaging multiple rear glass windows of the home.

Once inside, the suspect(s) stole various personal belongings. The homeowners were not present at the time of the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
