Waterloo Regional Police Investigating a Robbery and Assault in Kitchener
On April 4, 2026, at approximately 1 a.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to a reported disturbance in the area of Boehmer Street and Union Street in Kitchener.
The investigation revealed that several males and females accepted a ride from two unknown male individuals after leaving a local nightclub in Waterloo. During the ride, a disturbance occurred between the parties.
Police learned that one of the females was forcibly removed from the car and physically assaulted. The suspects stole property belonging to the female and fled the area in the vehicle.
The victim sustained minor physical injuries as a result of the incident.
Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service General Investigations Unit continue to investigate.
