Waterloo Regional Police Investigating a Robbery in Elmira
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a report of a robbery in Elmira.
On April 20, 2026, at approximately 2:15 p.m., police received a report of a robbery involving a handgun in the area of Union Street and Bonnie Crescent.
The incident occurred outside a business in the area. Two individuals were approached by an unknown suspect(s) brandishing a firearm, and personal property and cash were stolen.
The suspect then entered the rear passenger seat of a dark-coloured sedan that was last seen travelling west on Bonnie Crescent.
The suspect is described as a male wearing black clothing with a face covering.
No physical injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing by WRPS’ Break and Enter, Auto Theft, and Robbery Unit (BEAR).
