The Waterloo Regional Police Service is investigating a targeted robbery incident in Kitchener.

On August 25, 2025, at approximately 4:45 p.m., police responded to the area of Highland Road West and Westmount Road West following reports of a disturbance.

The investigation determined that the victim was assaulted by the suspect, who then stole property before fleeing the area on foot prior to police arrival.

This incident is believed to be targeted.
