Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Robbery in Kitchener
UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:
Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a person-on-person robbery in Kitchener.
On January 2, 2026, at approximately 1 a.m., police responded to the area of Victoria Street South and Westmount Road West for reports of a robbery. Officers located a male who had been assaulted with a baseball bat at an address on Mooregate Crescent. Personal property was taken from the victim during the incident.
Investigators are looking to identify and speak to the individual pictured below in connection to this incident.

The male was transported to a local hospital with minor physical injuries.
Investigators believe this was a targeted incident.
