Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Robbery at Kitchener Business
Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a commercial robbery in Kitchener.
On September 7, 2025, at approximately 8:50 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery at a business in the area of Highland Road West.
A male entered the store, concealed merchandise, and attempted to leave without paying. When confronted by staff, the male threatened violence in an effort to escape.
With the assistance of a customer, staff were able to detain the individual until police arrived and took custody of the male.
As a result of the investigation, a 42-year-old male from Peel Region has been charged with the following offences:
Robbery
Breach of Court Order (two counts)
The investigation remains ongoing.
