Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Robbery at Kitchener Business
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a robbery at a business in Kitchener.
On March 29, 2026, at approximately 7:15 p.m., police responded to a report of a robbery at a store in the area of Belmont Avenue West and Glasgow Street. The suspect entered the business wearing a face mask, brandished a large knife, and demanded money from the employee.
The suspect obtained a quantity of cash before fleeing the area on a bicycle. The victim was not injured.
The suspect has been described as a White male, 40 to 50 years old, approximately 5’7” tall, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a blue coat, a black hooded sweatshirt, a black toque, light blue jeans, a black ski mask, brown gloves, and black high‑top shoes.

The investigation remains ongoing by WRPS’ Break and Enter, Auto Theft, and Robbery (BEAR) Unit.
