Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a serious collision in Cambridge.

On September 28, 2026, at approximately 6:40 p.m., emergency services responded to multiple reports of a head-on collision involving a grey Honda CR-V and a grey GMC Acadia on Blair Road.

The driver of the Honda, a 72-year-old Cambridge female, was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.

The occupants of the GMC sustained minor injuries.

Blair Road was closed for several hours for the investigation and has since reopened. 

The investigation remains ongoing by members of WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit.
