Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Serious Collision in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a serious collision involving a motorcycle and a motor vehicle in Kitchener.

On May 9, 2026, at approximately 1:15 a.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision involving a Buick motor vehicle and a Honda motorcycle at Victoria Street South and Walnut Street. 

The motorcycle driver, a 25-year-old Kitchener male, was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of Buick was not injured.

The intersection was closed for several hours while members of WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit investigated the collision.

The investigation remains ongoing, and charges are anticipated.
