Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Serious Collision in Wilmot Township

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a serious motor vehicle collision in Wilmot Township.

On June 6, 2026, at approximately 1:45 p.m., emergency services responded to the intersection of Huron Road and Sandhills Road for reports of a collision.

As a result of the collision, one individual was transported to an out-of-region hospital and two others were transported to a local hospital. All sustained serious physical injuries.

The intersection remains closed while the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash camera footage is asked to contact the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Traffic Unit at 519-570-9777, extension 8856.
