The Waterloo Regional Police Service is investigating a report of a sexual assault in Waterloo.

On April 16, 2026, at approximately 7:30 p.m., police received information that a female was sexually assaulted by a male inside a retail store in the area of University Avenue West and Ira Needles Boulevard.

No physical injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
