Waterloo Regional Police Investigating a Sexual Assault in Waterloo
UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:
Waterloo Regional Police have laid charges following a sexual assault investigation.
A 25-year-old male from Waterloo has been arrested and charged with two counts of Sexual Assault and one count of Indecent Act.
The accused was held in police custody and is scheduled to appear in court.
Waterloo Regional Police thank members of the public for their assistance in this investigation.

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a sexual assault incident in Waterloo.
On June 23, 2026, at approximately 2:25 p.m., an unknown male suspect was observed looking into a residential window on Bricker Avenue. A short time later, the same individual was seen committing an indecent act also on Bricker Avenue.
At approximately 3:05 p.m., a victim was on the sidewalk on Bricker Avenue when the same male suspect approached and sexually assaulted them.
Investigators are looking to identify and speak with the individual pictured below in connection to these incidents.
The investigation is ongoing. Police will be canvassing the area for video footage that may assist investigators.
