Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Shooting Incident in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying four males after a shooting incident in Kitchener.
On July 31, 2026, at approximately 8:20 p.m., officers responded to the area of Duke Street East and Scott Street for reports of gunshots.
Investigators are asking the public to help identify the individuals in the images below as it's believed they may have information to assist in the investigation.

Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a shooting incident in Kitchener.
On July 31, 2026, at approximately 8:20 p.m., officers responded to the area of Duke Street East and Scott Street for reports of gunshots.
Through the investigation, officers determined that a confrontation occurred between several individuals before shots were fired. The involved parties fled the area prior to police arrival. No physical injuries have been reported.
Investigators believe this was a targeted incident.
The investigation remains ongoing by WRPS’ General Investigations Unit.
Police are seeking witnesses and anyone who may have dash camera, security camera, or cellphone footage of the area between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
