Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Shooting in Kitchener
UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Kitchener.
On December 1, 2025, at approximately 10 p.m., police responded to multiple reports of a shooting in the area of Century Hill Drive and Country Hill Drive. Upon arrival, officers located a male who had suffered gunshot wounds. The male, a 32-year-old from Kitchener, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators believe this was a targeted incident. WRPS’ Major Crime Unit is continuing the investigation.

Police currently are looking for the suspect(s) involved. A large police presence remains in the area.
