Waterloo Regional Police are investigating an stabbing that occurred in Kitchener.

On July 21, 2026, at approximately 12:20 a.m., police responded to a disturbance in the area of Homer Watson Boulevard and Conestoga College Boulevard.

Upon arrival, officers located a 19-year-old male who had been assaulted with an edged weapon. The suspect had fled the area prior to police arrival.

The victim was transported to an out-of-region hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe the incident was targeted.

The suspect is described as a white male, 17 years old, approximately 5'10" tall and 150 pounds, with a thin build, brown hair, and brown eyes.

The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by the General Investigations Unit.
