Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Suspicious Death in North Dumfries

Waterloo Regional Police Service is continuing to investigate the death of Elizabeth Spurgeon, 36, of Cambridge.

The victim was located deceased on September 12, 2025, in the area of West River Road and Brant-Waterloo Road in North Dumfries Township.

The death is now being investigated as a homicide.

Investigators are appealing to the public for any information relating to the whereabouts of Ms. Spurgeon in the days leading up to the morning of September 12, 2025.
