Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Suspicious Person Report in Waterloo

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after receiving a report of a suspicious person in Waterloo.

On February 25, 2026, police received a report of a suspicious person that had occurred at Albert McCormick Community Centre on Parkside Drive.

At approximately 4:15 p.m., an unknown male attempted to interact with two youth while inside the building. The youth left the area and there was no further interaction with the male. 

The individual was described as a Black male, approximately 20-30 years, tall, slim build, and was wearing a black balaclava on the lower part of their face.

The investigation is ongoing.
