Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Theft of Firearm from Vehicle in Waterloo
Waterloo Regional Police are investigating the theft of a firearm from a vehicle in Waterloo.
On September 20, 2025, at approximately 5 a.m., police received a report of a theft from a motor vehicle in the area of Roslin Avenue South and Erb Street West.
An unknown suspect entered a parked vehicle and stole a large black case containing a .22 calibre rifle. The suspect fled the area toward Uptown Waterloo.
Residents in the area with security cameras are asked to review their footage around the time of the incident for any suspicious activity or individuals.
The investigation is ongoing by WRPS’ General Investigations Unit.
