Waterloo Regional Police Investigating Thefts from Vehicles and Fraud in Waterloo

The Waterloo Regional Police Service is investigating a series of thefts from motor vehicles in Waterloo.

Between May 17 and May 20, 2025, police received reports of six thefts from vehicles in the area of University Avenue East and Marshall Street.

Following the incidents, the victims’ bank cards were fraudulently used by an unknown suspect.

Investigators are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect
