The Waterloo Regional Police Service is investigating a vehicle theft that occurred in North Dumfries Township.

On December 21, 2025, between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m., multiple unknown suspects entered a local trucking business and forced their way through the front gate. The suspects stole multiple Freightliner transport trucks along with two trailers.

One truck was recovered out of region, while the other two trucks and the trailers remain outstanding.
