Waterloo Regional Police Lay Charges Following Hit and Run Collision in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police have laid charges following the investigation of a hit and run collision that occurred on Sunday, May 3, 2026 in Kitchener.

Police were investigating a collision in the area of Manitou Drive and Bleams Road when officers located the involved vehicle at a nearby buisness. As a result of the investigation, the owner of the business was arrested.

A 42‑year‑old Waterloo male has been charged with Stunt Driving, Failing to Report, Mischief – Interfere with Property, Dangerous Operation, Failing to Stop After an Accident, Obstruct Peace Officer, and Possession of a Schedule I Substance.

The accused is scheduled to appear in court in July 2026.
