Waterloo Regional Police Renew Appeal for Information in Homicide of Joshua Bennett – Fourth Anniversary

The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) is marking the fourth anniversary of the homicide of Joshua Bennett and is renewing its appeal to the public for information.

On September 24, 2021, at approximately 4:30 a.m., police responded to reports of an injured male near a trail in the area of Paulander Drive in Kitchener. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased male who was later identified as 18-year-old Joshua Bennett of Etobicoke.

A post-mortem examination determined that the cause of death to be multiple stab wounds.

Investigators believe there are individuals in the community who have information that could assist in solving this case. A reward of up to $50,000 is being offered to anyone who provides credible information that leads to the arrest and successful prosecution of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Mr. Bennett.
