Waterloo Regional Police Renew Appeal for Information in Joshua Bennett Homicide Investigation
The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) is continuing to investigate the homicide of Joshua Bennett and is appealing to the public for information.
On September 24, 2021, at approximately 4:30 a.m., police responded to reports of an injured male near a trail in the area of Paulander Drive in Kitchener. When officers arrived, they located a deceased male who was later identified as 18-year-old Joshua Bennett of Etobicoke.
A post-mortem examination determined the cause of death to be multiple stab wounds.
Investigators believe members of the community may have information that could help advance the investigation. A reward of up to $50,000 is being offered to anyone who provides credible information that leads to the arrest and successful prosecution of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Mr. Bennett.
