On February 19, 2026, at approximately 9:35 p.m., police responded to a report of a commercial break and enter in the area of Westmount Road North and Erb Street West in Waterloo.

As a result of the investigation, a 36-year-old male was arrested for Break and Enter and Possession of Break‑In Instruments. The male was held for a bail hearing.
