Waterloo Regional Police Respond to Disturbance Involving Youths in Kitchener
On April 24, 2026, at approximately 8:25 p.m., officers with the Waterloo Regional Police Service responded to a report of a disturbance in the area of Ottawa Street South and Strasburg Road in Kitchener.
The incident involved multiple youths who were reported to be in possession of pepper spray. As a result of the investigation, two 15‑year‑old Kitchener males, two 16‑year‑old Kitchener males, and one 17‑year‑old Kitchener male were arrested and charged.
There were minor physical injuries reported.
Prior to police arrival, additional youths involved in the incident fled the area and have not yet been identified.
Police believe the incident was targeted.
