Waterloo Regional Police Respond to a Hate-Motivated Incident in Kitchener
Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a hate-motivated property damage incident at a place of worship in Kitchener.
Sometime between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. on May 24, 2026, an unknown suspect attended the location and applied hate-motivated graffiti to the back of seats inside of a vehicle on the property.
The investigation is ongoing by the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Neighbourhood Policing Central Division, Forensic Identification Unit, and Investigative Services Division.
