Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a hit-and-run in Kitchener involving major damage to a hydro-pole.

On December 5, 2024, at approximately 10:50 p.m., police responded to a report of a collision in the area of Bechtel Drive and Doon Village Road.

Upon arrival, police were unable to locate the vehicle involved in the collision.

Due to the incident, neighbouring residences experience prolonged power outages.

Police are attempting to locate the driver involved and check on their well-being.
