Waterloo Regional Police Search for Wanted Male and Seek Public Assistance
UPDATED MEDIA RELEASE:
Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a wanted male in Kitchener.
Pierre Chery, 25, was wanted on outstanding warrants for multiple offences, including assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, and forcible confinement.
On January 29, 2026, Mr. Chery was arrested by Waterloo Regional Police in Kitchener and held in custody for a bail hearing.

Waterloo Regional Police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate a male wanted on criminal charges.
Pierre Chery, 25, with connections to Waterloo Region, is currently wanted in connection to three outstanding warrants for charges of assault, assault cause bodily harm, utter threats, forcible confinement, robbery, and other criminal offences.

Mr. Chery is known to frequent both the London and Waterloo area.
